The centre is also the home of NOVA trampoline club.
Reynolds Sports Centre re-opened in June 2007, having undergone
an extensive re-construction as part of the education
department's Private Finance Initiative (PFI) building programme on
the Acton High School site. The centre now has a much larger gym
along with sports hall and dance studio.

Class descriptions
Body Conditioning:
This new class will concentrate on toning exercise for
all problem areas such as legs, bums and stomachs as well as an
aerobic work out. Fitness can be improved through cardivascular
exercises and muscle tone, through mascular strength and endurance
exercises.
Circuit training
This drop-in class is very popular and is
suitable for men and women who are serious about getting fit or
staying fit.
Pilates
Pilates helps to re-examine the way in which we use our
bodies. It offers both mental and physical training. It strengthens
the postural muscles, which stabilise the torso. The core of the
method is awareness of your body and every exercise is built around
its eight principles - relaxation, concentration, alignment,
centering, breathing, stamina, flowing movements and
co-ordination.
A ll classes are suitable for men and women.

Fitness gym
The new fitness gym is now available on a pay-as-you-go or
monthly membership basis (No direct debit required).
Induction:
Adult: £9 (£7.50 leisure pass holders)
Juniors: £7.50 (£5 junior leisure pass holders)
Pay-as-you-go use:
Adults: £2 per session (£1 leisure pass holders)
Juniors: £1 (50p junior leisure pass holders) per

Multi-use outdoor games area
The outdoor games area will be available for hire. It can be
hired with or without floodlights and can be used for five-a-side
football, netball and tennis.
Cost: Whole area £20 per hour (£25 per hour with
floodlights)
Netball court £15 per hour (£20 per hour with
floodlights)

Activity descriptions
Gymnastics
This course introduces children to basic gymnastic
skills and will help them develop their balance and co-ordination,
whilst having lots of fun. Children will also have the opportunity
to attain BAGA Awards (British amateur gymnastics association).
