Best-selling author, Anne Perry, talks about her popular books. Her memorable characters include Victorian policeman William Monk, private detective Thomas Pitt and his wife Charlotte, and the Reavley family from her World War 1 series. Her novel The Cater Street Hangman was made into a TV drama.

Three Bridges and the Railway
Wednesday 15 July, Ealing Central Library

Discover the history of the railway line between Southall and Brentford and the Three Bridges construction (where the rail, road and canal cross), the last major engineering feat of 19th century engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. An illustrated talk by Bob Gorringe, chairman of the Great Western Railway Preservation Group, marking the 150th anniversary of the Three Bridges construction.
