Since its humble beginnings in 1987, The Ealing Blues Festival has become one of the biggest and most popular blues events in Britain. Last year’s attendance hit 10,000 visitors, making it London’s biggest Blues Festival!
Ealing has always been regarded as one of the spiritual homes of British Blues, largely due to the fledgling Rolling Stones having been formed in the now defunct ‘Ealing Club’. In a link to that heritage, for 2009 we are proud to present one of Britain’s best Blues‘n’Roots musicians – Chris Jagger.
As 2009 has been an historic year for America – we are pleased to welcome three of America’s finest Blues musicians who have taken up residency in the UK - LeBurn Maddox, Adrian Byron Burns & Guy Tortora.
The free families area will be open at this festival, full of activities to keep the little ones entertained.
