Roads, highways and pavements
Ealing's transport network is mainly managed by two council departments. Highways management is responsible for highways maintenance, street lighting, road bridges, foot bridges, subways and implementing transport schemes. Transport planning is responsible for transport policy, managing large transport projects in the borough, and for sourcing funds for projects.
Current weather conditions
Due to the current cold weather conditions being experienced both nationally and locally, the council's main priority is to keep its arterial road network substantially clear of snow/ice.
