Loft insulation
By putting in 8 to 10 inches (20-25cm) of loft insulation you
can save up to 25% off your heating bills.
Cavity wall insulation
If you own or live in a property built after the mid-1930s it
probably has cavity walls, which lose up to 33% of the heat you are
paying for if they are not insulated.

** Costs for loft insulation may vary for lofts that are part-insulated with more than 60mm of insulation and will be quoted following a technical assessment. Installing loft insulation in a loft with existing insulation of less than 60mm will provide more energy savings and therefore attract a larger discount towards the cost. All prices and free measures are subject to survey, funding and eligibility criteria (correct at 12.01.10).
