Children missing education
The service identifies, tracks and follows up all
children who are not receiving suitable education, with the aim of
ensuring they are helped to access education as quickly as
possible. There is continuing liaison with other agencies likely to
encounter children missing education and the public are invited to
refer any child they understand not to be in education.

ContinYou Ealing Parent Partnership Service (CEPPS)
CEPPS provides free advice, information, and
support to Ealing's parents of children with special educational
needs (SEN).

Dominion Arts and Cultural Centre
The Centre works with community arts groups across the
borough, providing a centre-based and outreach programme in the
community and schools. Centre also available for hire for
conferences and meetings.

Ealing City Learning Centre (ECLC)
A centre of IT excellence for all the borough schools, the
Centre offers a full range of IT infrastructure including video
conferencing and a radio station. Delivers education programmes for
the borough schools and provides professional development training
for education staff. The Centre also has rooms for hire for
training and conferences.

The EBP promotes, co-ordinates and delivers education and
business partnership ventures in Ealing.

The EEC hosts training and development activities

Ealing music service
The service provides music opportunities for school children
and the community in all musical traditions and styles – including
South Asian and African – through specialist tuition.

Education attendance and welfare
The service responds to individual cases of
non-attendance at school and supports schools to ensure good
attendance by all pupils. Also supports pupils whose welfare is of
concern to the school.

The service provides consultations and advice to parents,
school staff and pupils. Involved in the assessment of pupils with
SEN via referrals often from health service professionals.

The team develops policies and programmes to raise
achievement and ensures that LAC have access to appropriate
placement and support.

Play service
The service provides a wide range of activities for children
up to 12 years, and their families. These vary from drop-in play
centres, to childcare schemes such as after school clubs and
holiday projects.

The team also provides advice and strategies to teachers and

Special educational needs service (SENS)
The service provides specialist advice to schools for pupils
with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia), sensory and
language impairment and autistic spectrum disorder. It also has an
early years team, which consists of portage (a home visiting
service for children with developmental delay) and a service for
children with diagnosed sensory (vision and hearing) disabilities.
