Level 2 Award in Food Safety in
Catering training
It is required by law that all food handlers must receive
adequate supervision, instruction and/or training in food hygiene
for the work that they do.
Ealing Council's regulatory services is a registered
training centre with the
Chartered Institute of Environmental
Health. In conjunction with
Thames Valley University runs the Level 2 Award
in Food Safety in Catering. Courses are held over a full day that
includes a short examination.
The subjects covered include:
Food hygiene courses are held on the last Friday of each month (excluding July and August) at Thames Valley University.
The course is administered by the council's food safety team and delivered at Thames Valley University, Ealing Campus. The course is held over one day, 9.30am-4.30pm.
Course fee: £70 per candidate
