Ealing residents will have the chance to quiz councillors and council officers at a public forum this Saturday.
The ‘Getting to know your council’ event, to be held at Ealing Central Library, aims to give the community a direct insight into how council decisions are made.
The event will feature information stalls about key council services, as well as two question-and-answer sessions on parking issues and budget priorities.
Cabinet Member for Transport and Regeneration, Councillor David Millican, will chair the question-and-answer session on parking, with senior council officers on hand to take questions from residents.
A similar panel, chaired by Cabinet Member for Finance and Performance, Councillor David Scott, will take questions on how the budget is set and spending priorities determined.
The event will begin at 10am in the library, which is located upstairs in the Ealing Broadway Centre. The full event programme is available at: www.ealing.gov.uk/wardforum
