Local families will be able to enjoy an afternoon packed with free activities and entertainment on Wednesday 1 August as Ealing Council celebrates National Playday at Rectory Park, Northolt.
The free entertainment on offer includes a bouncy castle, climbing wall, 100-foot army assault course, giant inflatable slide, face painting and an old-fashioned carousel. The event runs from 12 4pm and is open to everyone.
National Playday happens every year and celebrates childrens right to play and highlights its importance in their lives. This is the fourth year that Ealing Council has hosted a free National Playday event. More than 2500 people came along last year.
Councillor Patricia Walker, cabinet member for Children and Young People, said: At a time when the cost of living is increasing and people are finding it difficult to make ends meet, Im delighted to be able to invite local people to this free event.
Bring a picnic, and your family and friends, and enjoy all of the activities on offer.
