The dates have been announced for this year’s exciting Ealing Summer Festival programme.

Music, drama and laughter will bring the borough’s parks to life again this year with 16 days of sensational entertainment throughout the summer.

Audiences will be treated to top name acts for five nights at the Ealing Comedy Festival and the famous Ealing Jazz festival will also have a five-day stint in Walpole Park.

There will also be a series of specialist one-day events including Opera in the Park, Ealing Blues and Ealing Global music festivals. The fantastic London Mela in Gunnersbury Park will round off the fun in August.

In addition to the usual Ealing Summer Festival programme, this year Walpole Park will host a special event when the Olympic torch stops-over in Ealing, just three days before the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
