Walpole Park comes alive with smooth and soulful sounds during the Ealing Summer Jazz festival, with a varied and eclectic line-up.
Well known acts from the jazz scene are set to play the popular festival which has been running for more than 25 years. Headliners include the Ronnie Scott Legacy Band, Vasilis Xenopoulos and the Xtet, Paul Carmichaels Flight and Liz Fletcher. The finale on Sunday will be the Ealing born and bred Dick Esmond`s Sound of 17 Big Band, guaranteed to finish off the festival in style.
A relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful setting promise a good day out for everyone. There will also be a free families area, offering a variety of activities to keep youngsters entertained.
Council Leader, Councillor Julian Bell, said: The Jazz festival is a great opportunity to hear first-class musicians play in a lovely setting. Im always really impressed with the line-up and the atmosphere is second to none. I know the performers love to play here, hence we get so many returning year after year.
