Gaming and gambling
Under the Gambling Act 2005, the council is required to publish a gambling policy setting out how it will regulate gambling premises in the borough. The statement of gambling policy must be reviewed every three years.
Following public consultation, Ealing Council as licensing authority has revised its Statement of Licensing Principles as required under the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 ‘the Act’. The policy was approved at a meeting of the full council on 24 April 2023.
The revised statement has come into effect on 29 June 2023.
Our gambling policy provides the broad principles we intend to apply in exercising our functions under the Gambling Act 2005.
