The council provides businesses with public procurement
opportunities in the form of tender advertisements and Prior Information
Notices (PINs).
All contract notices for upcoming tenders which fall
above the European Union thresholds (approx £173,934 for services and
supply and £4,348,350 for works) will also be advertised in the
Official Journal of the European Union. An electronic version of this is
updated daily on the Tenders Electronic Daily website.
Prior Information Notice (PIN)
The council also publishes an annual Prior Information Notice
to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) every April. This
holds details of all forthcoming contracts available to let over a
12-month period that fall above the OJEU thresholds.
