Scrutiny
Suggest a topic
Local people and organisations can suggest topics for future scrutiny.
To qualify, issues suggested must:
-
affect a group or community of people (scrutiny does not consider individual service complaints)
-
not have been considered by a scrutiny committee during the last 12 months
Topics are more likely to be selected for scrutiny if they are:
-
specific
-
achievable
-
likely to generate productive outcomes
-
timely and relevant
-
of public interest
Each year around January-March the scrutiny unit invites topics for possible inclusion in the work programme for the following municipal year (May-April).
Alternatively, you can print and complete the suggest a topic for scrutiny form and email it to scrutiny@ealing.gov.uk or post it to the Scrutiny Unit, London Borough of Ealing, Perceval House 5NW, 14-16 Uxbridge Road, Ealing W5 2HL.
