Southall Library

Southall Library has an extensive selection of books in Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil and Somali. We have dual language books for children, and a selection of audio visual material in English and Asian languages.

A separate reference library on the first floor includes a sizeable collection of books on the Indian subcontinent, a variety of Asian language newspapers, magazines, and local community information.

The Martinware room is open to the public by appointment only.

The Selborne Society's collection is housed at Southall Library. The collection includes works by Gilbert White, an 18th century naturalist, as well as a collection of the Selborne Society newsletters dating back to 1880. The Selborne Society owns and manages Perivale Wood.  Please telephone the library for an appointment.
