Notice for all in-year applicants on waiting lists for community schools
Please note that these waiting lists were cancelled at the end of July unless
- your child was without a school place
- you applied on or after 1 June
- you refreshed your application in July by requesting to stay on the waiting list.

These pages provide advice for children needing a school place immediately in the school year 2012-13.
In-year admissions for school year 2012-13
From 1 September 2011, parents have had to follow the new in-year co-ordinated admissions procedure, by applying through Ealing Council and not directly to schools (as was previously done).
SEN children
If your child has a statement of special educational need, please contact the SEN section. Please phone (020) 8825 5533 and they will assist you to obtain the most appropriate school place.
Children in public care
If your child is in public care (looked after child), please contact the in-year admissions team.
Children of year 6 age
If your child is born between 1 September 2001 and 31 August 2002 your child will be in year 6 in September 2012, please go the in-year primary school admissions page.
Children of nursery or sixth form age
Please apply directly to nurseries or schools. For information on pre-school education and activities you can contact the Family Information Service. For information about Post 16 provision, please contact the Connexions service.
In-year primary school admissions
If your child is born between 1 September 2001 and 31 August 2008, you should apply for an in-year primary school place online.
In-year high school admissions
If your child is born between 1 September 1996 and 31 August 2001, you should apply for an in-year high school (from year 7 to 11) place online.
