Bulky items collection

You can request a special collection if you wish to get rid of items that are too large or heavy for normal household waste collection.

Examples of bulky household waste include: fridges, sofas, beds.  Please note:  We do not collect commercial fridges/freezers from domestic properties. A fridge/freezer collection requires a separate application and payment. 

By law, most electrical goods retailers will arrange for broken or unwanted appliances to be collected when a replacement has been purchased. We advise you speak with them first and check that they offer this service.

Items must be available for collection from the front, side or rear of properties and accessible at all times. The items must also be no more than 25 metres walking distance from the public highway, and be located on ground floor level, which is that of the pavement.
