Ealing is a thriving residential and business area. Parking controls are essential for maintaining traffic flow. Without parking management, our roads would quickly grind to a halt and be unsafe for pedestrians and other vehicles.
Parking services is responsible for the enforcement of parking and traffic restrictions throughout the borough. We manage 16 car parks and issue parking permits and visitor vouchers.
New pricing structure for multiple permits
From Wednesday, 1 July the council will charge more for each additional permit registered to the same address. The new charges apply to new purchases or renewals only. Existing permits remain valid until their renewal date. For more information go to the resident's permit pages.
Changing the way you apply for a parking permit
From 15 June 2015 we will no longer accept resident's parking permit applications by post, except in certain circumstances. Information on the criteria can be found on the resident’s permit pages. You can easily apply online for a permit or alternatively visit the council and use the free terminals available in reception.
Electronic permits replace paper parking permits
The council no longer issues paper resident parking permits. They are now issued electronically, so you do not need display a paper copy in your vehicle. In the same way as for vehicle tax, permits will be live on the council’s system once your application has been processed and payment received. Permit renewal reminders
The council is no longer sending permit renewal reminders by post and instead all reminders will be sent by email. If you would like your renewal reminder sent by email then please email your full name, address and vehicle registration number to: ParkingServices@ealing.gov.uk – in the subject line state: Permit Renewal Reminder – Please add my email address.
