Adult social care
Personalised adult social care
Ealing Council offers adult social care support to those people assessed as having critical or substantial care needs. Adults’ services uses the Fair Access to Care Services (FACS) eligibility criteria to make this decision.
The services provided focus on improving your independence, health and well-being in a personalised way, and in doing so offer you greater choice and control over how your support is delivered in a way that suits you best.
To find out more about getting the right social care support go to the My Social Care Support guide.
For more information please speak to your care manager or contact the social care customer contact centre.
Charging for adult social care
Adult social care, unlike health care, is not free for everyone. Adults’ services will therefore need to work out how much (if anything) that you will need to contribute towards the cost of your care and support – this will be decided after a financial assessment. To find out more go to the Determining Your Financial Contribution guide.
