Ealing CommunitySafe

Ealing Council, Ealing PCT, Metropolitan Police and London Fire Brigade have joined forces to offer one unified communication system called Ealing CommunitySafe to advise and alert residents and businesses to emergencies.

CommunitySafe will offer users the opportunity to receive urgent alerts to live incidents via messages to mobiles (charged at 12p per text) or non-urgent alerts via email for advice and guidance.

Keep up-to-date with what's happening and join Ealing CommunitySafe: www.communitysafe.gov.uk

Once registered, users can join any of the following groups:

  • Urgent: Messages will be sent to this group where there is an imminent threat to life and/or property in the borough of Ealing i.e. large-scale emergencies, road closures and cordons. In some cases this group will also receive the most urgent witness appeals.
  • Crime alerts and appeals: Subscribe to this group if you would like to receive local crime alerts. You will also receive information relating to ongoing police investigations where public assistance is required i.e. wanted or missing persons and witness appeals.
  • Public health and advice: Messages from this group give Ealing residents the information they need to help them stay healthy. Topics currently include: help to stop smoking, sexual health advice and how to choose and book a hospital of your choice for treatment. More health information will be added regularly.
  • Safer communities and fire prevention: This group will receive seasonal crime prevention advice and London Fire Brigade information about fire prevention activity. We will send details of: the latest criminal activities, where there is a rise or fall of crime type in particular areas, general community safety information, and severe weather and flood warnings.

Users can also sign up to receive a range of alerts from the following boroughs who also use CommunitySafe:
