Applying for a main round high school place
Children currently in year 6 are due to transfer from primary to high School (Year 7) in September 2015. If your child is currently out of school you will need to also make an in-year primary application.
Applications must be made directly to the Local Authority that you are living in at the time of application, regardless of the borough which the school is in. The deadline for applying for high School is 31 October 2014.

A paper application form can be obtained from your child’s current school if it is an Ealing maintained primary school or from the Schools admissions team.
Deciding on your preferences
It is very important that you look at each school’s admissions arrangements in relation to your circumstances so that you are aware of the order in which places are allocated at oversubscribed schools. You should look at how places were allocated last year to see if you have a realistic chance of being offered a place in your preference school(s). We strongly advise that you name your nearest non-faith high school as one of your preferences.
If you are applying for The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic High School or Twyford CE High School you will need to complete their supplementary information form in addition to your high school application. This must be returned directly to the school before the closing date 31 October 2014.
If you are applying for a music place at Twyford CE High School or a language place at William Perkin CE High School you will need to complete their application, in addition to your high school application and return it directly to the school by the deadline advised in the form.

National offer day
National offer day for high school is 2 March 2015:
- If you apply online you will receive an email in the evening on the 2 March confirming the outcome of your application
- If you apply on paper you will be posted a letter by first class post on the 2 March confirming the outcome of your application, this should arrive within two working days

Ealing Council takes very seriously any attempt to obtain a school place by deception. If we find that a school place was obtained using a false or misleading address we will give serious consideration to withdrawing the offer, even after the child has started school.
