How to find out about the possible threat of flooding
Telephone the Environment Agency on 0845 988 1188 and sign up to the free 24 hour Floodline Warnings Direct Service or visit the Environment Agency. Also watch national news channels or tune into local radio stations. 

Support from the council
The immediate response to a disaster is provided by the emergency services. In the case of flooding and where properties are flooded, the council will provide support and guidance to residents. Contact:
