Fostering success

Of the many children placed into Ealing's care, three in five are able to return to their homes after a stay with a foster family. For others this is not possible and we will seek permanent families for them.

The children we aim to find families for will have come into care for a variety of reasons. Some will have been neglected; others may have experienced abuse. It may be that the children's parents weren't able to take care of them, perhaps due to illness or mental health problems. These children really deserve a chance in life and to be part of a loving, secure home.

Would you like to care for a child? Perhaps on a short-term basis while we find them a permanent home or maybe you could offer a child a permanent family by becoming a long-term foster carer or an adopter. Children needing adopting and fostering are of all ages, not just babies, and from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

If you can provide a child with love, give them a family life and ensure that they have the best possible opportunities we would really love to hear from you. You really can make a difference to an Ealing child.
