Childcare sufficiency assessment

A requirement of the Childcare Act 2006 is that all local authorities (LA's) must consult with parents, employers and childcare providers on whether there is enough childcare provision in the local area, to enable parents to work or to undertake training leading to work.

To ensure a thorough outcome, these consultation methods were used:
