About us

Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership
The Ealing Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership’s (EYDCP) main purpose is to deliver the SureStart Vision to ensure that every child gets the best possible start in life.

To help deliver this vision, Ealing EYDCP has a highly dedicated team of development workers based locally to support the key areas of work. These areas include business support; childminders; out of school; and recruitment and training into childcare.

For further information about the above support service please contact us.

Family Information Service
Ealing Family Information Service (FIS) provides relevant information on childcare and early years education and other support services for children aged 0-19.

The CIS holds information on all Ofsted-registered childcare providers in the London borough of Ealing and provides support for existing childcare providers and people looking to register as childminders.

For further information on childcare in your area please contact us.

Play Service
The Play Service provides a wide range of activities for children aged 0-14 years and their families. These vary from drop-in activity sessions at play centres (where children can come and go as they choose), to childcare schemes such as after school clubs, holiday projects and children’s centres.

For further information about the service provided, activities, opening hours or hire of the premises please contact us

Recruitment and training
The Ealing early year’s development and childcare partnership is currently running a successful childcare recruitment campaign. As part of this campaign, we have a childcare recruitment officer who provides information, advice and support to people interested in working with children, regardless of their current qualifications and experience.
For further information about recruitment and training please
contact us.

Children’s Centres
The Children’s Centres programme is based on the idea that providing integrated services improves outcomes for young children and their families.

The purpose of each centre is to offer joined up services including education, childcare, family support and health services.

We currently have ten designated Children Centres which have become highly valued in their local communities, providing good quality childcare and other services such as information and advice, training, health support, counselling and toy libraries.
For further information about your local Children’s Centre please contact us.
