Stirling Road Centre
Stirling Road Centre is a day centre based in Acton, meeting the needs of adults with a learning disability, physical disability and sensory impairments.
It provides up to 95 placements a day, 65 of these are for people who can manage their own personal care needs. The remainder are for people who have high support needs.

Services offered
A wide range of services which encourage
independence are provided both within the centre and in the
community, including:
- sport and leisure
- health promotion
- community based projects
- a number of adult education modules provided by Acton, Hammersmith and West London Colleges
- work based training
- travel assistance
- support from the community health team such as speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and music therapy
- user empowerment group
- carers coffee mornings
To attend the centre
If you would like to attend the centre contact the
learning disabilities care team on (020) 8566 2360. An assessment
will need to be completed with you to assess whether a placement is
suitable. An assigned care manager will visit you to complete the
assessment.
The centre will contact you once the referral has been received from the care manager.
