Hanwell is a hidden gem with beautiful green areas west of Greenford Avenue with a very rural feel. There are a good variety of properties that make the area quite unique coupled with great canal walks/ open spaces for cycling. Above all Hanwell has a very good community spirit and good transport links.

Brent Lodge Animal Centre
Known locally as the Bunny Park, the centre houses a wide
variety of animals including exotic birds and mammals such as rhea
and mongooses, domestic species including goats and rabbits and an
indoor area with monkeys, reptiles, spiders and more.
Brent River Park
Includes Boles Meadow, Brent Meadow, Churchfields Recreation
Ground, Connolly Dell and Half Acre, and Elthorne Park. An ideal
place for sports and recreation, quiet riverside walks, picnics,
and watching wildlife.
Cuckoo Park
Unusually shaped like a horseshoe around Hanwell Community
Centre. The children's playgrounds are at different levels on one
side of the park, alongside an activity trail.
Hanwell Community Centre
A wide range of groups use this community centre including
sporting activities, upholstery classes, pottery classes and
theatre companies.
Hanwell Library
This library has a quick reference and a children's section.
An unusual feature is the collection of over 100 jigsaw puzzles
that users can borrow like any other item of stock.
Elthorne Sports Centre
Sports hall, gym, outdoor multi-use games areas with
floodlights (MUGAs), and sports pitches.
Gurnell Leisure Centre
Swimming pools, dance studio, gym, classes and outdoor
