Facilities available to hire
The areas listed below are available to hire. Contact the centre to check availability.

Main sports hall
Hire the whole hall for five-a-side games including basketball and netball.
Cost: £39.20 per hour

Small (school) hall
Cost: £22.50 per hour

MUGAs (multi-use games areas)
These outdoor areas can be hired for a range of sports, including basketball, 5-a-side and netball. The areas can be hired with or without floodlights.
Cost: £21 (with or without floodlights)

Class descriptions

Women’s fitness hour
A ‘women only’ session involving a warm up, followed by a session using Cardiovascular and weights machines in the gym.

Traditional circuit training
A mixed fitness session combining exercises and weights for a total body workout, to suit all ages and fitness levels.

Legs, bums and tums / Super circuit
A popular session with the ladies, this class targets these three muscle groups. Incorporated into the class is super circuit, a circuit class incorporating aerobics with a variety of exercises for an ultimate workout.

Gym training (special needs and recovery session)
This session is ideal for people with disabilities or those recovering from injury or serious illness. Users can enjoy quality time in the gym with an instructor on hand to offer help and advice on training programmes.

Step and tone
A different type of step class using a variety of exercises to tone the whole of the body

Body conditoning
A fitness class with a difference - using different types of exercises including weights to enhance the body for an all over workout

Fitness classes £4.50 (£2.30 LP), gym training session £1 (special needs and recovery), sports session £3.50 (£1.80 LP)

Children of all abilities will have the opportunity to learn and improve their football skills. Both sessions start with skills and drills and each session finishes with a fun football match.

Active teens - gym sessions
Improve your health, strength and fitness by joining the gym. Our active teens gym membership is available to those aged 14 to 16 years. To become a member of the gym you must complete a gym induction. All induction sessions are supervised by qualified instructors, who will offer guidance and advice on training programmes suited to your needs.  Induction cost: £7.50 (£4.50 JLP) one-off fee.
(This membership does not include use of free weights ).
