When
is PM Gallery and House open?
The opening hours are Tues-Fri 1pm-5pm, Sat
11am-5pm.
Can
you accommodate group visits?
We can accommodate parties of up to 50 people, but would ask
that you let us know in advance if you would like to visit. We can
arrange tea and biscuits for a charge of £1.50 per person if
required. Please contact the facilities manager by email:

Do
you have guided tours of Pitzhanger Manor?
We occasionally arrange guided tours for groups of 10-25
people, for which we charge. Please contact the facilities
manager by email:
pmgallery&house@ealing.gov.uk
or telephone (020) 8567 1227 for further details. There is also an
audio guide, which can be hired at a cost of
£1.
What
is the history of Pitzhanger Manor-House?
Pitzhanger Manor-House was once owned and
designed by the revered British Architect, Sir John Soane,
(1753-1837). Soane bought the house is 1800 and re-designed it over
the following four years. From 1804 he used Pitzhanger as his rural
retreat, displaying his collection of artefacts and artworks whilst
entertaining his famous contemporaries, including the painter
Turner.

house and gallery available for hire?
Rooms are available for
hire in the house and gallery for corporate
entertaining, promotional events, recitals, receptions, meetings,
parties, dinners, conferences, film and television hire,
photographic shoots, lectures and classes.
Can
I get
married at Pitzhanger Manor-House?
Yes, the Eating Room is licensed for civil
wedding ceremonies.

Where
can
I find more information about the Martinware pottery
collection?
We have published a
catalogue detailing the whole Hull Grundy
collection. It includes introductions and illustrations on the Hull
Grundys, the Martin Brothers and their pottery. The catalogue is
priced at £10 (+£2 p&p).

can
I exhibit my work at PM Gallery and House?
PM Gallery and House programmes exhibitions of
professional contemporary art, in all media. Please email
pmgallery&house@ealing.gov.uk
or telephone (020) 8567 1227 to request a copy of the
exhibition guidelines. The guidelines lay out the criteria
and procedures for assessing exhibition proposals. It is essential
you read and consider these guidelines before sending in a
proposal.

There are

artists and arts groups in the borough from the council and
nationally.
