Film Installation: From Dust till Dawn

Torill Haugen is a Norwegian filmmaker who began her career as a
dancer and choreographer. In 2001 she filmed From Dust till Dawn at
Pitzhanger Manor-House, incorporating dance, music and sound.
Shown in the Georgian 'Eating Room', the film resonated with a
sense of place and history. Torill projected a story onto 3 walls
of the same building – a dance film, mapped in three dimensions, to
evoke a sense of the fourth.
With music by renowned Norwegian Ketil Bjornstad, this
evocative and moving film resounded with lingering images and
sounds and touched a memory, not quite remembered, or something
that went before.
