Southend Boys’ and Girls’ Choirs

The Southend Boys’ Choir is one of the leading choirs in the UK. The choir has performed with the country’s leading orchestras and has made many highly acclaimed recordings. The Southend Girls’ Choir, has broadcast in television and radio and performs regularly at major London venues. The choir undertake regular concert tours and has performed in the UK, Canada, USA, Seychelles, Europe and Australia. Senior members of the choirs join together for a number of concerts each year and have performed at St Martin in the Fields and the Royal Festival Hall.  The choirs will sing folk songs, spirituals, gospel numbers and music from stage and screen.

St Matthew’s Choir

A short concert of Vaughan Williams who died 50 years ago. Celebrating his choral works with the following delightful selection: Mass in G Minor, Five Mystical Songs, Toward the Unknown Region.
