Once again, Greenford Carnival will open the season of dazzling and diverse Ealing Summer events. Bringing a festive array of sights and sounds to Ravenor Park, the carnival is a day to delight in community spirit and the best in local entertainment.
Enjoy a variety in entertainment from four arenas: a main stage featuring music and dance; an acoustic stage; a sports area; and a families’ area.
Yes Brazil brings Carnivale’s glitz and glamour to Greenford with their vibrant and colourful samba extravaganza.
Be treated to a day packed full of lively performances including:
-
the talented David Mensah
-
the Oddfellas play tunes and songs from the British Isles and America using banjo, bodhran, bass, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, mandola, spoons and recorder - sometimes all at the same time
-
Uke n' Boogie, a four piece vocal and ukulele band will provide unique entertainment with timeless classics on small instruments
-
The Irish dance group and the students of Greenford’s Pinnacle Performing Arts will provide a variety of dances
Parents can chill out in the relaxation area, with facilities to warm bottles and feed babies, a soft play area and nice cups of tea.
Kids will love to participate in the magic, arts/crafts and circus skills workshops, as well as the ever-popular face painting and henna tattoos.
More family fun includes:
