Housing related support
Ealing Council's Gateway service is responsible for undertaking assessments to identify housing related support needs for vulnerable clients.  After the initial Gateway assessment the Gateway officers will allocate the appropriate housing related support service to meet the needs of the client.

The Gateway assessment is not subject to the same eligibility criteria as the social care Fair Access to Care assessment.

Services for adults
Adults living with HIV are entitled to an assessment of their need, as well as people who care for them. Services they may receive following an assessment include:

Services for children and families
Parents who are HIV positive (even if their child is negative) can receive services and an assessment from social services. Children who are HIV positive can also receive specialist services and advice, including:

All referrals are dealt with confidentially and information will not be shared with relatives or other professionals, without consent.
