Parking and enforcement plan
Local authorities are required to produce a Parking and Enforcement Plan (PEP) as part of the Local Implementation Plan (LIP). Transport for London's (TfL) LIP guidance stipulates in specific detail the type of information that must be included in the PEP to ensure that it reflects the objectives of the Mayor of London’s transport strategy.
Ealing Council has had a parking plan since 2001 with annual reviews undertaken in 2002 and 2003. These earlier versions were largely dedicated to the implementation of controlled parking zones in the borough.
A draft PEP was submitted and approved by TfL as part of the LIP. The council is reviewing this plan and will be redrafting a new document.
