Highways enforcement
The council has a duty to protect the public rights on the road and footpath network. The effectiveness of legislation in protecting the public is dependant on the compliance of others. The council, as Highway Authority, has a duty to maintain adopted highways to safe and serviceable standards.
Officers are required to enforce statutory legislation relating to highways.
To report an obstruction:
Please print the reporting an obstruction form (word), complete and email to Ealing Customer Services. You will need to provide the following information:

description of the obstruction eg builders materials, skip, flytipping

date and time of offence

contact name,address and daytime telephone number

make,model,colour and registration (if the obstruction is a vehicle)

whether it is urgent/dangerous
