Crossrail
‘Crossrail’ is a new high-speed rail link across London, from Berkshire to Essex and will stop at five stations in the borough - Southall, Hanwell, West Ealing, Ealing Broadway and Acton mainline.
‘Crossrail’ received financial backing from the government at the end of 2007 meaning that the project is now set to go ahead. Construction is due to begin in 2010, with the first trains expected to start rolling from 2017.
