Ealing's transport network is mainly managed by two council departments. Highways management is responsible for highways maintenance, street lighting, road bridges, foot bridges, subways and implementing transport schemes. Transport planning is responsible for transport policy, managing large transport projects in the borough, and for sourcing funds for projects.
