Ealing Council does not collect the following items:

asbestos - requires specialist removal. Check your yellow pages to arrange a private collection.
boilers - metal boilers can be disposed of as scrap metal at:

building/DIY supplies eg bricks, builders rubble, concrete, earth, sand, gravel. These should be taken to Greenford Waste and Recycling Centre.

dead domestic pets should be taken to your veterinarian for disposal.
oils eg lubrication oils or greases, heating oils, cooking oils.

Large quantities of cooking oils can be disposed of by contacting Heap Oils on 01895 824 252.

Engine oil only should be taken to: Greenford Road Waste and Recycling Centre, Acton Waste and Recycling Centre, Southall Waste and Recycling Centre. Addresses and contact telephone numbers, as above. Alternatively, engine oil only can be placed in a plastic bottle clearly labelled as 'engine oil' and put in your green box.
tins of paint - these should be taken to Greenford Waste and Recycling Centre Depot, Greenford Road, Greenford, UB6 9AP. Tel: (020) 8813 1816, for reuse
unwrapped disposable nappies should be placed in your normal, household rubbish.
