I've
ordered pre-paid sacks and not received them
yet, who should I contact?
Normally the sacks are delivered within three
working days of the payment being received. If you need to confirm
delivery please contact Ealing Council on (020) 8825 6000.

What
is the cost of trade sacks/stickers?
The sacks and stickers are sold in packs of 20 at a cost of
£22.56 inc. VAT, and are payable in advance.
How
do I pay for the collection of my commercial
waste?
Invoices for customers with containers are sent out
quarterly and can be paid the same as all other council invoices;
at the bank, by post, standing order or in the Customer
Service Centre on the Uxbridge Road.

What's
the minimum amount of waste you collect as
my business does not produce much waste?
You can purchase rolls of sacks and put out as many
as necessary each week. You are not contracted to a fixed
amount.
How
do I dispose of waste from my commercial
premises?
All waste created in a commercially-rated premises has
to be paid for. You must use a legally-registered company. You can
use either the council, a private company or you can take it to a
waste site but it must have a
weighbridge so you can pay for it and receive the
relevant receipts and waste transfer notes.
What
type of trade waste do you collect?
Most types of waste can be collected. We cannot collect
builder's waste, oil, hazardous waste, large car parts, or large
solid pieces of wood.
My
business is located in a narrow road and
does not have easy access, what arrangements can be made to collect
my waste?
Every case is looked at individually. Generally the
health and safety regulations state that bins should be no more
than 10 metres away from where the vehicle can access and sacks
should not be carried more than 30 metres. It may mean that the
customer brings the refuse to an agreed place to await
collection.

state that one month's notice should be given in writing. Following
