Commercial waste
Any waste generated in commercial premises is considered commercial waste. Commercial outlets must have a legal contract with a registered waste company (such as Ealing Council) and must be able to provide evidence by which they legally dispose of their waste. This must be a waste transfer note/waste contract from a waste company or a receipt from a waste and recycling site. To register with the council, please contact customer services.
It is an offence to dispose of commercial waste on the public footpath or in a public litter bin. Offenders are liable for a £80 penalty notice and a fine of up to £2500 is the matter is taken to court.
Commercial waste charges
- Sacks - sold in rolls of 20. Cost: £22.56 inc. VAT. per roll (inc. VAT).
- Stickers for cardboard - sold in packs of 20. Cost: £22.56 per pack inc. VAT.
The sacks and stickers are payable in advance of receiving the supply.
Containers:
- 1100 litre bin (capacity 12 sacks). Cost: £9.47 per collection + VAT
- 660 litre bin (capacity 7 sacks). Cost: £8.15 per collection + VAT
Commercial premises requesting containers will be inspected for their suitability.
