Household waste disposal
Residents can weigh, unload and dispose of domestic waste at Greenford Road Re-use and Recycling Centre.
Ealing residents taking household rubbish in their own car are not required to provide proof of residency or identity.
Residents using their own private vehicles below 1.8m/5'11 in height can enter the site via the height-restricted, non-commercial entrance. Private vehicles above this height must enter the site via the weighbridge.
Drivers of hire vans bringing domestic household waste to Greenford need to produce a copy of the hire agreement, proof of residency and photographic identity before they are allowed to tip free of charge.
Construction, excavation and demolition materials transported in a vehicle below the height restriction must enter the site via the weighbridge where a commercial charge may apply.
Vehicles must not exceed 3.5 tonnes (gross) weight.
Note: Weighbridge staff have absolute discretion over what constitutes household or commercial waste, whether or not supporting documents are provided. Access without charge is at the discretion of weighbridge staff.
