Your plastic recycling will be collected on the same day as your other recycling and refuse.

Find your joint collection day by using the May Gurney (formerly ECT Recycling) online database.

How to put plastic out
You should now have a re-usable white sack for plastics recycling.  You can use the sack straightaway.

Plastic items should be placed loose in the sack.

Most plastics can be put out for collection, except for:

Please rinse and flatten as much plastic as you can and do not mix plastic with any other recycling because a different vehicle picks it up.

The sacks are made from heavy-duty weatherproof material that should last up to three years. They are also weighted so that they shouldn't blow away. To protect them, please store them when they are not in use.  Please also seccloseure the flap to help ensure your plastic items do not blow away in the wind.

Please do not put plastics in black sacks - it won’t be collected or could end up in the refuse truck.

Your plastic recycling must be out by 7am on your collection day. It should be placed at the front boundary of your property, but not on the pavement.  If you are unable to carry your sack to the front of your property you can arrange for an assisted collection.

If you have not received your re-usable sack, please contact Ealing Council customer services on (020) 8825 6000 or email customers@ealing.gov.uk
