Aircraft noise pollution

Parts of the borough are periodically affected by noise from aircraft departing from Heathrow Airport. Because the airport is a 'designated airport' the council cannot take any direct action in terms of noise complaints. However, the environmental quality team will take any enquiries and complaints from members of the public about aircraft noise and submit them to the Heathrow Airport advisory Committee (HACC).
