Can you spare a few hours? Are you keen to learn some
valuable conservation skills? To ensure Ealing's parks continue to
provide a haven for people and wildlife, we need you to get
involved. Take part in practical conservation tasks on the
programme or have a say in the future of your local park.
There is a programme of conservation work days led by the ranger teams of Ealing's parks, countryside and events service. It involves tasks such as the removal of invasive species, tree planting, hedge laying, path construction, habitat creation, coppicing and pond maintenance. The work days are usually held on a Tuesday and a good opportunity for the local community to get involved in making the borough's wild spaces more enjoyable for people and wildlife. For more information contact your local ranger team.
