Car parks

There are over 20 car parks in the borough. Pay-and-display machines accept cash only – they do not give change or accept notes, credit cards or debit cards. The council reserves the right to amend charges and hours of operation.

Motorcycles may park for free and need not pay and display in any motor cycle bays within the council's car parks.

Many car parks have marked bays for disabled badge holders. People with disabilities displaying a disabled badge may park for free for a maximum of three hours. Return is prohibited within two hours. Clocks must be displayed.

Please note: On UK bank holidays all our off-street car parks are free of charge for parking.

The number of season tickets available is limited - they are issued on a first-come first-served basis.

To apply for a season ticket, please complete the application form (word) and return to the relevant address as shown on the application form.
