Solar schemes and grants
Solar hot water systems provide 50-70% of your hot water
(even in Britain). They consist of one or more solar panels that
are easily fitted to your existing water system to allow you to get
free hot water from the sun. Energy Smart have negotiated discounts
of up to 35% off standard listed prices, and government grants of
£500 towards installation are also available.
Energy Smart is a nationwide not for profit scheme which aims
to provide all homeowners with access to discounted energy saving
measures.
