Summary of special educational needs policy
We identify children with special educational needs
as early as possible to ensure that their needs are met. Each class
teacher has overall responsibility for children’s progress within
an inclusive, but individualised, programme of support. Children
are helped in class by a team of learning support assistants and
our special needs co-ordinator teaches small groups for 75% of the
week.
