Dairy Meadow is a happy, well-organised and attractive school. We aim to encourage all children to achieve the highest possible level and to develop caring and friendly relationships with each other. The staff works in partnership with parents to support each child develop their potential. We firmly believe that the school should be a caring place where children are happy and keen to learn.
Ethos and values
We aim to encourage pupils to take pride in their
work and achievements. We offer a broad curriculum which
develops academic, aesthetic, physical and emotional growth
and development so that children gain self confidence, are able to
persevere and learn to understand and respect others. We value the
abilities and talents of all children and celebrate their effort
and achievements.
Summary of special educational needs policy
Lessons are planned so that all children can make
maximum progress possible. The curriculum and teaching methods are
adapted to meet the needs of pupils with special educational needs
so that they are able to develop skills and knowledge in mainstream
classes. The school works in partnership with parents and children
are encouraged to assess their progress in achieving their
targets.
