The school’s philosophy is centred in the Christian Faith and seeks to create an environment in which Christian values influence every activity and relationship.
Ethos and values
Against the background of the school philosophy,
the aim of the school is to promote the intellectual, spiritual,
moral, social, cultural, aesthetic and physical development of each
individual pupil to the maximum of his/her potential.
Summary of special educational needs policy
The special educational needs co-ordinator assists
class teachers in identifying children with special educational
needs and arranges suitable programmes of work. Appropriate
children may be referred to the school’s educational psychologist
and additional support may be provided. Regular reviews are held by
the SENCO with class teachers and parents. Children with
disabilities have full access to the curriculum and take full part
in school activities.
