Villiers High School prospectus information

Villiers High School is a mixed comprehensive school with specialism in technology (mathematics, science, design and technology and information technology) for students aged 11 to 16. From September 2009 it will be opening a sixth form. The school is situated in the London Borough of Ealing with 1,200 students (excluding the sixth form) and over 80 staff.

Villiers High School has an excellent reputation within the local community and is a popular choice with parents. Villiers is dedicated to developing well-rounded young people with good academic results and has a successful record in sports, the arts and links with industry.

Our pastoral system and programmes of vocational guidance ensure that the vast majority of students progress to further and higher education. Visitors to the school consistently compliment the staff on their professionalism and enthusiasm; and the students on their good manners, breadth of knowledge and creativity.

The school aims:

Villiers High School is a partner with schools in Poland, Greece, Turkey, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Germany in the European Community’s Socrates Project. This enables staff and pupils to visit its partner schools and to broaden their experience.

The Special Educational Needs (SEN) department at Villiers aims to develop the academic, social and emotional potential of every pupil. We have a ‘whole school’ approach to meeting special educational needs whereby every teacher is involved in meeting the needs of pupils with SEN. We aim to inform, involve and consult parents and pupils from the earliest stages of concern.

The school also publishes a more detailed prospectus.

Villiers was originally built in 1907 and it consists of three main buildings on a quiet cul-de-sac.
